I was going to put this as a P.S. in my previous post, but so many folks have already been there they wouldn't see it and I wouldn't get credit :-)
Running, combined with laundry:
2 miles while the washer was running
3.5 while the dryer was drying
Also ran up and down the short hill (about 0.1 mile) to and from the laundry (except when I had the basket)
Then went for about a 45 minute hike in the desert w/ Steve and Journey.
Boy, I just want credit for everything, don't I?

I think you should run with the basket on your head. It would be entertaining. I'll give you double miles credit for it.
And you deserve the credit Ellie! What an awesome day. Sadly, I'm now craving Crunch bar. Going to crunch on the stability ball instead :)
Love the gmaps idea! I used to have a map of Canada, and plotted my running across, but gave up because the scale was wrong. I'm going to steal your idea, but give you the credit of course! Thanks for the added motivation!
Boy do I ever post long comments. I wonder if there's a word limit... :)
I say running during the spin cycle is a great way to multi-task.
You could've been eating Nestle's Crunch, after all.
Laundry running? I love the idea. I love that part of the LIW books where she and Mary would get out and run alongside the wagon as it rolled across the prarie. Paving the way for all future marathoners :)
Now funny you should post this. Just last night I was going back to the days when my kids were little and getting either them or me to get chores done, in an effort to keep me focused. I would allow them and myself so much "play" time for an equal amount of chore time. You sort of are doing the same thing. Get the wash started, get to go run. Get the dryer started, get to go run. Similar idea. Keep it up!
Way to go girl! Everything counts. :)
LOL. You deserve it!
I do stretches while i wash my clothes :)
That deserves credit! Way to multitask! :)
Hi Ellie, great day!
