OK, taking a vote here.
Is my blog readable? Too wordy? Too detailed? Would you like it better if it weren't so descriptive?
I said I wasn't going to write so much, and I don't.... in my daily notes. But once I start putting it here, every thought I have just runs out my fingertips. If I don't put the thought down, I'm afraid it will be gone forever.
Are my posts so long as to be cumbersome to read? I know one person who will say yes, but he is a man of few words. :-)

We enjoy reading your notes and following you on your journey, We don't think they are too long; they are inspiring and sometimes humorous. They are you!
I love it. My problem is the sign in for comments. That's a Blogger problem. I can't read those stupid wavy words that they use to confirm it's a person. It becomes a pain in the patootie to post a comment. You are never too wordy. I love reading your accounts.
Usually I'm just a lurker but this time I will comment to say I enjoy your blog very much! Good luck on your journey. Elizabeth
OK, everyone, thank you!
here is my opinion on blogs. They are first, journals. Thus my blog is for me. I share it online, and if someone gets some pleasure from it that's fine. But my goal is to get everything in my head written down, so that 5 10 years from now, I can go back and see what I think about it from the different vantage. So----I will read as much or little of your blog as I care to (as it turns out, I read most of it), but you should be writing everything you want.
Good point, Dianne. Thanks!
Love your descriptive posts! Walking the AT virtually is as close as I'll ever get. Please keep writing what's in your head and heart. As Dianne says: Write for your own records and memories. The more you post now, the clearer your memories will be, and the enjoyment of reliving the Trail down the road.
