My friend Karen (Downhill Nut) sent me this:
If you've read my couple of recent posts about internet addiction, and know I'm planning to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail....
...then you'll understand why I had to print it out, on good paper, at best quality, for framing!

OMG, this is so funny!!
(But if someone else is posting your AT journal entries, does that still count as spending time on the Internet?)
great post! :o)
We had a great bike ride today...25.5 miles on the Western Maryland Rail Trail.

I found myself thinking the same thing when I went on my second adventure trip to CO and NM. I thought, " I can't wait to put this on my blog." Even though my blog is out there for all to read, it is really for me to remember because I forget things so easily these days.
Best of luck with your AT thru-hike. I did a southbound hike in 2000, and man did it ever change things for me!
I've put up a bunch of articles on our website concerning thru-hiking, journals, photos, and the like. Poke around there, and feel free to email any questions.
Take care,

Oh, this is great! I wonder if I'll be feeling this when I go on vac next week.
